Where to Find It
Print Email lives in the three dots (⋯) menu on an email:- A sent email’s page
- A draft email’s details page
- A scheduled email
Paper
- Paper size — Letter (8.5 × 11 in), A4 (8.27 × 11.69 in), Legal (8.5 × 14 in), or Tabloid (11 × 17 in). Flowforth picks Letter or A4 for you based on your region.
- Orientation — Portrait (the default) or Landscape.
Ink
Three options control how much ink the print uses:- Full color (default) — “Prints exactly the colors that were sent.”
- Black & white — “Black text on white backgrounds.”
- Text only — “Black text, no images. Uses the least ink.”
Links & Buttons
A printed page can’t be clicked, so this section decides what happens to your buttons and text links. Three options set both at once:- Print as they look — “Buttons and links stay as sent”
- Add QR codes — “Scan with a phone to open the link”
- Write out the web address — “Prints the address next to each link”
- Buttons — Keep as buttons / Replace with QR codes / Write out the web address
- Text links — Keep as is / Add QR codes / Write out the web address
Include
Two switches decide what gets added around the email content:- Subject, sender & date — “Printed at the top of the first page.” On by default. What the header shows depends on the email: a sent email gets a Sent date, a scheduled email gets a Scheduled line instead, and a draft shows just the subject and sender.
- Email footer — “Unsubscribe link and mailing address.” Off by default, since a printed unsubscribe link isn’t much use.
Preview
The preview on the right isn’t just the email — it’s the actual sheets of paper. It simulates pagination, so table rows, images, QR code boxes, and paragraphs won’t be split across a page break, and it draws the sheet edges with page numbers so you can see exactly how many pages you’re about to print. Use the zoom control in the bottom right to zoom in and out. It starts at fit-to-width and you can return to that at any time.Merge tags are resolved before printing. Date tags like
@current-date print using the email’s send date. Person tags like @first-name print blank rather than showing the raw tag, so nothing goes out reading “Hi @first-name,”. Planning Center custom merge tags print exactly as written.Related
