After you send emails, you may want to tidy up your workspace or keep certain sends from affecting your overall performance numbers. Flowforth gives you two tools for this: archiving and hiding from global metrics. They solve different problems and can be used together.

Neither option deletes an email. Content, recipient data, and per-email stats all remain available.

When to Use Each

Archive when you want to clear sent or draft emails from your main emails list. This keeps the table focused on what your team is actively working on. Hide from global metrics when a sent email would skew your organization-wide stats — for example, a test send, an internal announcement, or a one-off email with unusual engagement. The email stays in your list and you can still view its individual metrics, but it won’t count toward the totals on your dashboard.
For a sent email you want out of sight and out of your dashboard stats, use both: hide it from global metrics, then archive it.

Archiving Emails

Archiving hides an email from the default emails table view. Archived emails are not deleted — you can open, replicate, or unarchive them at any time.

What Can Be Archived

  • Sent
  • Draft
  • Failed
You cannot archive emails that are scheduled or currently sending. Cancel a scheduled email first if you need to remove it from your active list.
Archiving is also different from folders. Folders organize emails into groups; archiving hides them from the default table. You can use both together.

Archive a Single Email

From the emails table:
  1. Go to the Emails page.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the email.
  3. Select Archive.
From an email’s detail page:
  1. Open the email.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) menu in the top right.
  3. Select Archive.

Archive Multiple Emails

  1. Go to the Emails page.
  2. Select one or more emails using the checkboxes.
  3. Click Archive in the action bar at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Confirm in the popup.
If every selected email is already archived, the action bar shows Unarchive instead. With emails selected, you can also press A on your keyboard to open the archive (or unarchive) confirmation without clicking the action bar.
Folders can be selected alongside emails, but only emails are archived. Selected folders are not affected.

View Archived Emails

By default, the emails table shows only active emails. To find archived ones:
  1. Go to the Emails page.
  2. Click the filter icon in the toolbar.
  3. Add the Archived filter and choose Archived or All.
See Filtering Tables for more on table filters.

Unarchive an Email

  1. Use the Archived filter to find the email, or set the filter to All.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) and select Unarchive.
You can also select multiple archived emails and click Unarchive in the bulk action bar.

Hiding from Global Metrics

Hiding an email removes it from your organization’s global metrics on the home dashboard — totals like emails sent, open rate, click rate, and unsubscribes. The email’s own metrics page is unchanged. This option is only available for sent emails.

Hide a Sent Email

From the emails table:
  1. Go to the Emails page.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the sent email.
  3. Select Hide from Global Metrics.
  4. Confirm in the popup.
From an email’s metrics page:
  1. Open the sent email.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) menu in the top right.
  3. Select Hide from Global Metrics.
  4. Confirm in the popup.

Show an Email in Global Metrics Again

Follow the same steps and select Show in Global Metrics. The email will be included in your dashboard totals again.
