The connector is in beta and is turned on per organization. If your organization doesn’t have it yet, contact support@flowforth.co. You can still connect without it, but every request will say the connector isn’t enabled for your organization.
Connecting Claude
- In Claude, go to Settings > Connectors.
- Find Flowforth in the directory and click Connect. If you don’t see it, click Add custom connector, name it
Flowforth, and pastehttps://flowforth.co/api/mcp/mcp. - Sign in to Flowforth if you’re asked to.
- On the Flowforth screen that says Claude is asking for access, click Approve.
/mcp, choose Flowforth, and sign in.
What it can do
The connector acts as you. It only sees and changes what your Flowforth permissions already allow.- Read: emails and their results, your templates and Flowforth’s template gallery, saved and pre-built sections, people, audience lists, categories and unsubscribes, automations, QR codes, link pages, folders, teams, sending domains, and this help center.
- Preview: show how an email or template looks right now, including the version a particular audience list gets when some blocks are limited to certain lists. Previewing never changes the email.
- Check links: find every link in an email or template, including buttons, images, social icons and the footer, and check that each one works. Claude says where each link is, which ones are broken, redirect somewhere else or use insecure http, and whether Google Web Risk flags any as unsafe. Checking visits each link from Flowforth’s servers, and is limited to 30 checks per organization a day.
- Planning Center: search your connected Planning Center for upcoming events, announcements, groups and signups by name, and add them to a draft email as blocks or as a set of cards, the same way the editor’s Import from Planning Center does. Claude always looks items up by name first; it never pulls a whole list.
- Change: create, edit and delete draft emails and templates; start a draft from one of your templates or one from Flowforth’s gallery; create and edit folders and move emails between them; create email categories and turn a category’s public page on or off.
- Build block emails: in a draft block email or block template, add text, images, buttons, dividers, lists, columns, cards, videos, file downloads, social icons and author blocks; change or restyle a block, including one inside columns; fix wording with find-and-replace; move and delete blocks; and drop in one of your saved sections or a pre-built one. A block can be limited to people on (or not on) one audience list.
- Style block emails: change the email’s design (backgrounds, fonts, text and link colours, heading styles, and button, divider, image and card defaults), edit the footer, or apply the style of one of your templates or a gallery template without touching the content. The footer always keeps its unsubscribe and preferences links.
- Images: Claude can only use images and files from your organization’s asset library. It can search the library, but it can’t add images from the web, so upload them in Flowforth first.
- Working alongside you: changes show up live for anyone with the email open in the editor. If someone has a block selected, Claude leaves it alone and tells you who is editing it.
- Write content: write or edit the HTML of a draft HTML email or HTML template, and write the text of a draft plain-text email or template. HTML must include an unsubscribe link, or Claude is asked to add one. Plain-text emails get your organization’s footer and unsubscribe links automatically. Images from outside Flowforth aren’t supported yet, so upload images in Flowforth.
What it can’t do
- It can’t send or schedule an email. Anything it creates stays a draft until someone sends it from Flowforth.
- It can’t edit or delete an email that has been sent or scheduled.
- It can’t add, edit or delete people, or change anyone’s subscriptions.
Example prompts
- “How did last Sunday’s email perform, and which links got clicked?”
- “Why did people unsubscribe last month?”
- “Duplicate last week’s newsletter into a draft for this week and file it in the Newsletters folder.”
- “Show me what this Sunday’s draft looks like for people on the Volunteers list.”
- “Add the Easter services and the Fall Retreat signup from Planning Center to the end of this week’s newsletter draft, as cards.”
- “In this week’s newsletter draft, add a heading and a Register button for the Fall Retreat under the welcome text, using the retreat photo from our asset library.”
- “Change ‘Sunday at 9am’ to ‘Sunday at 10am’ everywhere in the draft, and make the buttons our brand green.”
- “Write a short plain-text note from Pastor Sam to the Volunteers draft thanking them for Sunday, addressed by first name.”
