The video block lets you embed a video thumbnail in your email. When a recipient clicks it, they’ll be taken to the video on YouTube or Vimeo.
Emails don’t support inline video playback. The video block displays a thumbnail image with a play button overlay that links to the video.

Adding a Video Block

Drag the Video block from the sidebar into your email canvas. Then paste a video URL into the Video URL field in the sidebar.

Supported Platforms

YouTube

Supported URL formats:
  • https://youtu.be/VIDEO_ID
  • https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VIDEO_ID
  • https://www.youtube.com/live/VIDEO_ID

Vimeo

Supported URL formats:

How It Works

When you paste a valid video URL, Flowforth automatically:
  1. Fetches the video’s thumbnail from YouTube or Vimeo
  2. Overlays a play button on the thumbnail
  3. Links the thumbnail to the original video URL
When someone clicks the thumbnail in the email, the video opens in their browser.

Customization Options

  • Size — Control the width of the video thumbnail (as a percentage of the email width)
  • Alignment — Center the video or align it to the left
  • Corner Radius — Inherited from your email’s style settings
