Updating your default footer does not affect: Emails you’ve already
created, emails that have already been sent, and email templates
you’ve saved.
How to Edit Your Default Footer
- Go to Emails → Templates
- Click the Default Footer button
or visit https://flowforth.co/emails/templates/edit-footer
- Choose a footer layout and spacing
- Add or adjust footer content (text, logo, links, etc.)
- Edit social media icons and their links
- Preview how it will look in new emails
The preview here shows your organization’s mailing address, the same way it
appears in a real email. The address itself is managed in Organization
Settings, not in the footer
editor.
Text Link Types
When adding text links to your footer, you can choose from the following link types:Changes you make are auto-saved and will apply to all future emails using
the default footer.
Footer Layouts
Every footer starts with a Layout section at the top of its settings. Pick one of three arrangements:
Layouts are available on an individual email’s footer and on your default footer, so you can set one as your standard and still change it for a single email.
Switching layouts never loses your content. If a layout doesn’t display a
field — Minimal doesn’t show your logo, for example — that field is simply
kept in the background. Switch back and everything is exactly as you left it.
Spacing
Under the layout picker, Spacing controls how much vertical breathing room the footer has:- Default — the standard spacing footers have always used
- Compact — tightens the space between the footer’s rows for a shorter footer
Logos in the Editorial Layout
Editorial is built to handle wordmark logos (a wide logo with your church’s name in it), not just square icons. In the Logo section, the Width slider goes from 24 to 240 pixels, and where the logo lands depends on how wide you make it:- 48 pixels or smaller — the logo sits inline, on the same line as your footer title
- Wider than 48 pixels — the logo moves to its own line, directly above the title
