How This Information Is Used

Organization Name

  • Appears at the bottom of all emails you send.
  • Helps recipients recognize who the email is from.
  • Used as your public name and for copyright purposes.

Address

  • Also included at the bottom of every email.
  • A physical address is legally required under anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM in the U.S.).
  • It shows recipients that your email comes from a real, legitimate organization, not a spammer.
Why this matters:
Including your physical address and organization name helps build trust with your audience and ensures you’re compliant with email marketing laws. Missing or fake addresses may cause your emails to be flagged or blocked by email providers.

Primary Email

  • This is the email address used for sending test emails from Flowforth.
  • You can update it at any time in the Organization settings.

Date Format

Flowforth lets you control how dates appear in your emails. The date format setting applies to:
  • The @current-date merge tag, which inserts today’s date into your email
  • Planning Center content imports, where dates from events or other content are pulled into your email
You can configure your preferred date format in your organization settings. The format you choose will be applied consistently across all emails and content that use date values.

Timezone

Your organization’s timezone is pulled automatically from your Planning Center account’s localization settings. This ensures that date values are accurate and consistent with the rest of your church management tools.
