# Planning Center Says a Connection Already Exists

> What to do when you can't connect to Planning Center because a connection already exists.

If you try to connect to **Planning Center** and see a message that a connection already exists (or that your organization is already connected), it means your Planning Center organization is already linked to a Flowforth account.

This is expected behavior. A single **Planning Center organization can only be connected to one Flowforth organization**. Because that connection already exists, Flowforth won't let you create a second, separate connection to the same Planning Center organization.

***

## Why This Happens

There are two common reasons you'll see this message.

### Someone else already connected Flowforth

This is the most likely cause. Someone else at your church or organization has already set up Flowforth and connected it to your Planning Center organization. Since only one connection is allowed, you can't connect again from a separate account.

**What to do:** Instead of creating your own connection, ask the person who set up Flowforth to [invite you to the existing organization](/organization/manage-and-invite-members). Once you accept the invite, you'll have access to everything that's already synced — you won't need to connect to Planning Center again.

### You signed up with a different email than the one you were invited with

If someone invited you to join their Flowforth organization but you signed up or logged in with a **different email address** than the one the invite was sent to, Flowforth creates a brand-new organization for you. When that new organization tries to connect, it runs into the connection your team already has.

**What to do:** Log out and sign up (or sign in) again using the **exact email address your invite was sent to**. The message Flowforth shows includes a quick link to log out and start again with the correct email.

## Check Who Already Connected

If you're a **Planning Center organization administrator**, you can see whether Flowforth is already connected — and who connected it — directly in Planning Center.

<Note>
  The connections page is only accessible to **Planning Center organization administrators**. If you're not an admin, ask one of your organization's admins to check for you, or contact [support@flowforth.co](mailto:support@flowforth.co) and we can help.
