# Logging In to Flowforth

> Sign In with Google or with email.

Flowforth offers two secure and simple ways to log in:

* **Sign in with Google**
* **Sign in with Email (Magic Link)**

***

## Sign in with Google

Signing in with your Google account is the fastest and most seamless option.

Just click the **“Sign in with Google”** button and follow the prompts.

## Sign in with Email

If you prefer not to use Google, you can sign in with your email. Flowforth uses a **magic link** instead of a password.

### What to Expect

1. Enter your email address.
2. We’ll send you a login email with a link and a 6-digit code. The **6-digit code inputs appear right away** on the "check your email" screen, so you can type the code the moment it arrives.
3. You can either:
   * Click the **button** in the email — the link **verifies automatically** when it opens and signs you in. There's no **Continue** button to click.
   * Or copy and paste the **6-digit code** into the login screen.

<Note>
  If you open a link that was **already used**, you'll see a recovery screen
  instead of an error. This can happen when an email security scanner opens the
  link before you do — it points you to the **6-digit code** or lets you request
  a fresh link, so you can still sign in.
</Note>

### Didn’t Get the Email?

Here are a few things to check:

* Look in your **spam** or **junk** folder.
* Make sure you entered the **correct email address**.
* If you’re not sure, you can **resend** the email from the login screen.
* Still stuck? Contact us at **[support@flowforth.co](mailto:support@flowforth.co)**.

## Switching Between Login Methods

Which methods work for your account depends on **how the account was first created**.

### If You Signed Up with Email

If your account was created with **Sign in with Email** and you later use **Sign in with Google** with the **same email address**, your Google account is **automatically linked**. From then on, either method signs you in to the same account.

### If You Signed Up with Google

If your account was created with **Sign in with Google**, email sign-in isn’t available for that account. Entering the address on the login screen shows this message:

> This account was created with Google. Use "Sign in with Google" instead.

Use the **“Sign in with Google”** button instead — it signs you in to the same account, with everything right where you left it.

<Note>
  This doesn’t mean you have two accounts. A Google account simply doesn’t have
  an email login attached to it, so Google stays the way in.

## Why We Don’t Use Passwords

Flowforth uses **passwordless login** for your security and convenience.

* Magic links are **time-limited** and **single-use**, making them harder to exploit.
* No passwords means no password reuse or phishing risks.
* You stay secure without needing to remember or manage another login credential.
